So, I couldn't log in for a while, turns out I just had to delete the cookies for the site and it was all good! Glad I got that fixed; now, onto some new progress.
I am currently in another 3D modeling class, but this time we are focusing now on not a whole scene but just a single character. I decided to re-make Yukiko and actually do her some justice, so this is what I have so far. I still need to relax the edges and fix some tris that I have in the stomach area, but over all this is my best model so far! She'll be wearing a corset like top, hence the awesome cleavage. ^^;

More Concept Art!
So, for the new class, we had to draw out at least 3 designs in an archetypal pose. I have 4 starting characters, but only had the time (and energy) to do the three so far. I'm actually REALLY happy with how these came out and so far, they are my best designs yet. I used similar techniques to what I learned from doing speed paintings to apply to this. So, here they are!
So, that's it in a nutshell! All feedback is welcomed!

Finally Done With Project Manager Course!
As the title states, finally finished with the Project Manager course! It was a lot of fun and very informative! I don't know if I would want it as a career choice because it sure is stressful! However, it did open my eyes to just how much really goes into making a video game. Normally, that would probably scare a person off, but for some strange reason, I have a renewed sense of "faith" I guess and really want to start bettering myself.
My next few classes will allow me to really focus working on the game I proposed and I REALLY want to do well on it. So, I am making a vow to draw at least an hour a day and at least something relate-able to my game idea at least three-four times a week. I'm hoping to update this blog a lot more now too. =)
As a reward for reading this, here's a "screen shot" mockup of my UI. =D

More Speed Painting!
This time with a forest theme! Gary says it looks somewhat like something from Tangled and I have to agree. The first one I did the lighting was off since it was a night time theme; it was too bright. I then did a color overlay to achieve a more night time effect. Here are both, so please critique away! I am open to all suggestions

Learning to Speed Paint
I'm teaching myself how to speed paint since at the moment, the technique hasn't been covered in any of my classes, and I love the style for concept art. Mainly working on environments right now since I can be a little more fluid with them; then hoping to graduate to more detailed projects.
Sadly, it's been a while since I have had the chance to do any drawing; but it feels good to get back into the swing of things!
All critiques are welcomed. =)
